Kristina Rihanoff's celebrity partner on Strictly Come Dancing 2015 has been revealed.
The dancer has been a tabloid favourite over the summer following her relationship with her former celebrity partner Ben Cohen.
This time around however it seems unlikely there will be any rumours of a romance involving Kristina having been partnered with devout Catholic singer Daniel O’Donnell.
“It was thought Daniel was the perfect person to pair with Kristina amid the controversies," a source said this week. “Going public with Ben this summer has really put her in the spotlight and the BBC doesn’t want to risk looking like its courting drama by pairing her with someone there could be flirtations with."
The insider added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Daniel is such a wholesome character, he was deemed the most appropriate partner.”
Speaking earlier this year, Kristina admitted she had almost quit after being dubbed a 'man eater'.
The pro dancer confessed to ITV's Loose Women that her portrayal in the media left her in "a bad place".
Speaking to Ruth Langsford and the panel, Jamelia, Jane Moore and Gloria Hunniford back in June, the Strictly dancer said: “Last year, [I was] almost there.
"I was in a bad place because my mother was suffering with a breast cancer scare and the press were so horrific at that time that I thought that maybe there was a time where I needed to step out."
Daniel and the rest of the celebs - Ainsley Harriott, Anita Rani, Anthony Ogogo, Carol Kirkwood, Georgia May Foote, Helen George, Iwan Thomas, Jamelia, Jay McGuiness, Jeremy Vine, Katie Derham, Kellie Bright, Kirsty Gallacher and Peter Andre - will offically find out their partners during Saturday night's launch show on BBC One.
